Top 10 Most Famous Hackers of All Time
ITSecurity has a thing for linkbait "top-lists". Normally I try to remain immune, but hey, who can blame them for trying right? This time I figured I'd help them out since I've actually had the opportunity to meet a few of the "Top 10 Most Famous Hackers of All Time". Interesting individuals and they're always much different in person than the mental image of their persona I created in my mind. Often these guys show up at Defcon or BlackHat and usually willing to exchange a story for a beer. Good times.

They are only famous because THEY GOT CAUGHT....
The Greates Hacker list would be totally different... because the Greatest hackers HAVE NEVER BEEN CAUGHT... and hence we don't know their names to put them in any list.
Maybe the list should actually be called THE MOST FAMOUS LOSERS WHO WERE HACKERS AND GOT CAUGHT
These 'famous' hackers are also the stupidest hackers. The smart ones haven't been caught.
I know because it is my profession to bust hackers... and the ones we catch are all stupid.
