Made blue belt in brazilian jiu jitsu

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) was made famous in the US by UFC champion Royce Gracie. BJJ is a grappling fighting style (ground fighting) focusing on chokes, arm/leg locks, and other moves to force your opponent to submit. BJJ is one of the more physically and mentally demanding activities I've ever done. That includes Australian Rules Football! Definitely not something for the meek or faint of heart. During the last year of training I’ve lost a lot of weight, hugely increased my stamina, plus am much stronger and faster. Also competed recently in my first tournament. I'm not sure where I'll take this, but so far I’m really enjoying it.

So what does a having a blue belt mean? The belt levels are white -> blue -> purple -> brown -> black. It typically takes 8 - 10 years of training to reach black. So in information security terms this means I'm no longer a script-kiddy n00b type that can only run Nikto and Nessus. I can use Paros and my Firefox to find some of my own vulns in Web Goat or something. :)
